“ONCE A MOMENT IS SHARED – IT BELONGS TO EVERYONE.” - MOISÉS KAUFMAN

In 2007, a mysterious album featuring Nazi-era photographs arrived at the desk of a U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum archivist. As curators unraveled the shocking truth behind the images, the album soon made headlines and ignited a debate that reverberated far beyond the museum walls. Based on real events, Here There Are Blueberriestells the story of these historical photographs—what they reveal about the perpetrators of the Holocaust, and our own humanity. This new production is conceived and directed by Moisés Kaufman and co-written by Amanda Gronich. Charles McNulty of the Los Angeles Times cheered, “Moisés Kaufman conducts this impeccable production with symphonic subtlety.”

After two years and 5 cities, our national tour of Here There Are Blueberries came to a close at Seattle Rep in February 2026. The tour closed after 136 performances and 24 talkbacks held in collaboration with Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE).

Here There Are Blueberries also made its London debut at Theatre Royal Stratford East in January 2026 to critical acclaim.

The published script is coming in Spring 2026 - soon to be available for licensing through Concord Theatricals.
